The fish wind chime’s sound, most commonly known in Korea as Poongyeong Sori (풍경소리, literally ‘Sound of the Scenery’), is always found in the most peaceful Buddhist Temples of Korea. Symbolizing the principles of Buddhism and the basis of Korean tradition, the chimes and its sound have always been an essential part of the Temple life. This piece decorates that sound, amidst a light, bland background of the early morning, in a vibrant assortment of colors that depict the movement and the both vociferous and natural music of the wind chimes.
